The main launching and mooring points in Uig & Bernera are found at Miavaig at West Loch Roag, Uig, and Kirkibost Harbour, Bernera. (Click on the links to see Google satellite maps of each of the harbours).  Both are sheltered harbours, and moorings are available for visiting yachts.

There are toilet facilities at both piers, and visitors to Bernera can also use the showering facilities in Bernera Community Centre, which is approximately a mile away from the harbour.

Sailing visitors to Uig can also now request access to the disabled access in Uig Community Centre, and can make use of the launderette facilities in Uig Community Shop.

Local bus services will be happy to collect from both harbours and take you to the local community centre / shops.
