The Community Coordinator is employed by Comhairle nan Eilean Siar and guided by a local advisory group, the Uig & Bernera Development Group. The Coordinator supports projects that are likely to have a real benefit to the community by researching ideas and looking in to solutions to problems identified; lobbying agencies to raise the profile of key issues; looking in to funding sources for local projects and helping with funding bids as appropriate.
